What Can We Expect From Dungeon Hunter 5 for iOs and Android

Gameloft has revealed that they will be releasing their 5th installment of their mobile Diablo-like game on iOs and Android and, we got some information for you on what to expect from Dungeon Hunter 5.

So let's cut any long intros and let's begin...

When we speak of the visuals of this 5th installment, the other old versions will become awful. There are some point that we felt that the visuals of Dungeon Hunter 5 is more comparable to Dota 2. The graphics and animation of the game is superb.

The mechanics of the game is still there but when you played DH5, you will feel the difference in the visuals as its more crisp and polish. Not to mention that the developer has made the animation more smooth and the animation of the skills more fancy. If you want to see a glimpse of it, just check out the video below later.

To make it even better, Gameloft has added a feature for the game wherein you can upgrade your weapons and gears. There are two types of Equipment upgrades: THe Upgrade system and the Evolution system.

The upgrade system works by taking weapons and armor that you find from monsters, chests, and anything else and combining it with the current weapon/armor you have. This is the process of fusing items together as one of the two methods for upgrading. The second method is using Evolution Materials.

The Evolution system is more geared for upgrading weapons and armor that are already at max level. So if you have a sword that can not be leveled up anymore, this is when you would want to start using the Evolution system. This basically starts upgrading the stats of the sword even higher even though the sword is at max level. Eventually, using both systems, you could take a level 1 sword and bring it with you the entire game, leveling it up along the way, and even increasing the original rating of that sword (as an example going from normal->magic->epic->legendary).

In our opinion, this will be a great add-on to the game as players will not only look to level up their character, but they will also be task to level their gears. In this way, they will be more engage in the game as they got other things to do than bashing mobs on the head, killing bosses or other stuff we do on dungeon crawler game. 

When we say Class, it means the character you'll be picking. As we know it, you can play from range fighters to melee brawler on the past Dungeon Hunter version but in DH5, you won't. What do we mean by this? It's because at the very beginning, you'll choose your main weapon instead of picking a class. However, this does not mean that you'll be sticking around with the weapon of your choice for the entire game as you can switch from various weapons ranging from bows, staffs, swords, etc. So basically, you will be able to get the joy of playing any class in one character which we find really awesome.

The combat system is like any other Dungeon Hunter game wherein it's a hack and slash dungeon crawler game. The only difference here is that DH5 runs smoother than any other versions. And one thing that we find really amazing is the unique abilities of bosses wherein the game will not only task you to bash those big bosses in the head, but it will task you to dodge their unique abilities which makes the game more challenging.
