Samsung has partenered with the famoud developer of Oculus Rift, Oculus VR to bring a virtual reality handset for its Samsung Note 4.
The handset will be named as Samsung Gear VR. It is an attachment to the Note 4 and will run off to the phones hardware.
A developer version of the device will be showcase this October while the "Innovator Edition" to be release on fall for VR enthusiasts. The Gear VR has multiple apps preinstalled including Oculus Home, which grants access to the Oculus store, along with Oculus Cinema, a video app that allows for 360 degree videos.
Despite all these good news on the VR handset, the developer admitted that creating the device is extremely challenging. They noted that they are currently worried on issues such as overheating and battery life.
