Disclaimer: I am NOT trying to be preachy or condescending. I only want to help other average PvP players like me. Take my advice or don't... no big deal.

So I've seen so many posts about people not getting to the lighthouse and I can see why you would all be frustrated. It seems most of you are getting ever so close and then missing. I am an average PvP player when it comes to one-on-one combat. I've been to the lighthouse on all three characters this week. I did not get there by cheating/cheesing (leaving the game when spotting a tough opponent). I excel at Trials because I do/have noticed the following:

Constant communication with my teammates: My voice is calm and I only give information that is relevant. For this board, initially we split up... two go to sniper alley (inside hallway) and I go to the middle area. We all call out the opponents we see. If I see no one in middle and no one approaching after a short time, I move to inside sniper alley to assist my teammates (and vice versa).

I choose the weapons I feel most comfortable with and have practiced just using them effectively in regular skirmish. When I practice, I don't play to have a 4.0 k/d ratio. I practice combat situations. This is to help me with my reactions and limit freak-outs in tough situations.

When I die.. I say so and say who is around me, how many, what weapons they are holding, and what type of character they are (to give hints on possible supers). This gives my teammates key info for the revive or kill.

People are creatures of habit. Even if they fail, they will try the same strategy once more normally. After failing twice, expect them to do the exact opposite. I know this seems obvious to some, but not everyone.

I look at the load-outs and characters of my opponents. I note their snipers (if it has final round is very important). Does a warlock have self-revive? Striker titan for smash or bubble bro? Arc blade (invisibility and blink jump) or gunslinger. Are they all using snipers? Rushing them from the side might be better than a sniping battle.

There are a lot of other things, but I hope some of these were at least a little helpful.
