Okay, since everyone are so hype of the new class in Dragon Nest, the Lancea, it's time for another guide. This time, we will be discussing the difference of its second class advancement: The Flurry or the Sting Breezer. Which class do you prefer the most?
The Sting Breezer
The Sting Breezer is the secondary specialization class of the Piercer, the other being the Flurry. Sting Breezer enhances her weapon with magic so enemies do not stand a chance against her, even if her spear does not touch them physically.
The Flurry
The Flurry is the secondary specialization class of the Piercer, the other being the Sting Breezer. Flurry’s fight style is an art to behold. Word has it that her combat skills resemble the wind – silent, persistent and relentless!
So what's the best class advancement?
To tell you honestly, I can't really pick one that is suitable for you. Of course, I don't know how you play and what's your personal preference. I will just give you some insight of both class advancement for Lancea.
Okay here it goes. The Sting Breezer is more of a magical-sided class and has Light-element skills. In Dragon Nest SEA, players are crazy of light elements now so most probably, Sting Breezer are the most preferred class as it has more chances in getting into parties. However, that it doesn't mean that Flurry will just sit on the side and cry like a baby as everyone will take her for granted. Aside from having good booties like her sister (funny), the Flurry is physical-sided and as said by my fellow DN player, Flurry is much more faster than Sting Breezer (but not as fast as other ninja-like class). In addition, Flurry may not be binded with any elements which is a downside but you can make it as an advantage also, as you can't be hindered by one element. You can make an Fire/Dark/Water/Ice/Light Flurry anytime you want.
If you don't know yet, Lancea is not that appealing to players as they feel that it's not worth taking on the 8-man raid as if they don't have the Harmonize skills (which both class have), they will be worthless (Talking about the Harmonize skill, I think Flurry is more capable of abusing this skill as it's much easier to stack STR than INT IMO). However, that's their point of view. One main reason why many don't like it is because you can't spam skills as a Lancea because of Erratic Power, and Scar Maker forces you to remain in a small area, something that would be difficult to set up in high-level content scenarios. However, that's their point of view and others believe that it could hurt bosses and even players a lot if you know how to handle it. Just take for example being a Lancer in Tera Online. Many would disagree at first that this class is superb but in the end, they are switching to Lance like crazy.
Another comparison to Sting Breezer and Flurry is that SBs are like Majesty which relies mostly on 2 burst damage to do a lot of damage while Flurry relies on the mechanics like RNG that can boost her attack. Both do rely on burst damage and yes, they are slow-casting skills which makes it really hard to master both class but when you do, it earns big rewards.
Now let's talke about Range: Flurry is a close range class, with slow cast skill and long skill duration, it really makes hard to master as you must have the right timing to burst out your damage, especially that you have to depend on RNG system to burst after all. However, Flurry has this skill called Scar which help close combat team a lot.
On the other hand, Sting Breezer are mid-range combatant which is safer to play. She only have 2 super burst damage skill (like Gravity Switch), and before doing that, you have some mechanic like Bull Eye as Sniper to increase your Light Attack.
In terms of PvP, well I can say that Flurry has a small advantage against Sting Breezer. It's like like Gladiator vs. Moonlord but in a slower perspective. Even though they say that Flurry has slower skills, they can cope up with their good mobility and chain-able skills. Sting Breezer are more like Moonlords wherein you run cast and run cast again.
So, that's my point of view on the two class advancement for Lancea. If you do have something to add, please do share your thoughts on the comment box below. I know most of my words are disappointing but that's what I have experience playing the two so far. However, I am currently at mid game wherein the fun is just starting. For high-end geared Flurry and Sting Breezer, I don't know yet but I will just leave you with a few images below which has jaw-dropping numbers of damage (I'm talking about billions), and tells a story on what these two Lancea can do when properly equipped.
