Crescent Moon has revealed a new trailer and some details on their upcoming sci-fi open world action-rpg. The game is called Exiles: Far Colony and it's like the mix of Mass Effect and the developer's own, Ravensword title.
In the game, players will be tasked with exploring an alien planet, discovering secrets witin the colony, and just doing general open-world shenanigans. Hop on an airbike and check out the landscape? Go for it. Want to see what's going on in some of the structures in the world? That's possible too. And there will be weird alien creatures to discover and defeat. As you see, there will be both first and third-person shooting, and a combination of open worlds and corridor landscapes to visit. The soundtrack is being done by Sean Beeson, who did the soundtrack for Ravensword: Shadowlands and other Crescent Moon titles. Crescent Moon's self-developed titles have a particular ambition to them that's exciting because not a lot of developers are trying to adapt larger experiences for mobile platforms these days – people who like big and bold games will want to get excited for this one. Expect it by the end of the year.
