Developer Kabam has released a Marvel game on iOs and Android called Marvel Contest of Champions. It's like a tournament game wherein you fight as your favorite Marvel superhero or supervillain. The main agenda of the game is to collect strong superheroes and pit them against other players online.
You can check out a brief overview about the game below.
An Elder of The Universe known as The Collector has summoned you to a contest of epic proportions against Marvel super villain Kang The Conqueror. Experience the ultimate free-to-play fighting game for your mobile device.
BUILD YOUR ULTIMATE TEAM OF CHAMPIONS:
Assemble a mighty team of heroes (and villains) as you go on quests to defeat Kang, face the challenge of a mysterious new super powerful cosmic competitor, and ultimately battle to prevent the total destruction of The Marvel Universe.
COLLECT THE MIGHTIEST HEROES (AND VILLAINS!):
Collect, level up and manage your teams of heroes and villains wisely to receive synergy bonuses based upon team affiliation and relationships taken from the pages of Marvel Comics. The more powerful the hero/villain, the better their stats, abilities and special moves will be.
QUEST AND BRAWL:
Quest your way through an exciting storyline in classic Marvel fashion as you explore dynamic quest maps and engage in a healthy dose of action packed brawling utilizing controls developed specifically for the mobile platform. Fight it out with a huge array of heroes and villains in iconic locations spanning the Marvel Universe.
Here's a little preview on what you'll be getting once you've downloaded the game:
We've tried playing the game for a couple of hours and we must say, this game is has potentials. Graphically, it's impressive and the integration of touch controls to the gameplay is flawless- just tap to punch and kick, tap and hold to block and many more touch controls.
Although we find some minor things that needs fixing such as some connectivity issues and sometimes, the loading screen takes too long to load. In addition, we strongly suggest that aside from the wide range of marvel characters that you can pick, the developer should also consider character customization. We're not talking about costumes here, we're talking about gears and perks to help your hero and villain in battle. In that way, the game will become more addictive and gets more replay value.
Anyway, the game is on its early stage and we think that the developer has something god in stored for us in the near future (fingers crossed). Right now, we recommend that you try out Marvel Contest of Champions. Why not try it? IT'S FREE! So there's no reason why not to try it. You can download it now on Google Play or iTunes App Store.
