We have included DISQUS Discovery in our blog in our blog a weeks ago to find out if it has good earning potentials and, we have some shocking revelations about it which we will share to you in this page.

So, does DISQUS Discovery really earn money?
The answer is MAYBE. We are not quite sure yet if it does earn as for almost two weeks now, our earnings are 0.
Another bummer is that it didn't even show any pageviews wherein we can track the users who gave an interest or seen the ads posted on the DISQUS comment box. So basically, this means no one commented on our blog or, no one really bothers to go to the bottom page of our blog.
Well, that's not the case though. We manage to have atleast two comments per day on our blog the past two weeks and if this is the case, why are we not receiving any impressions?
So we tried to look one of our high performing page and we have seen these ads on the DISQUS portion:
They are IRRELEVANT/UNRELATED ADS! The content you see above are from a page which has gaming content and as you can expect, no one will be interested with these kind of stuffs.
Another bad effect pf DISQUS Discovery on our blog is that our adsense CPC drops from .20 to .14. We started using this program last November 24th and on the next day, our adsense cpc drops to .14 usd and then it yesterday was our worst CPC ever which was 0.06 usd. Coincidence?
Well, we decided to take down DISQUS Discovery on our blog and continue with Adsense for now.
We think our blog is not suited for thus kind of program at the meantime. If we were to suggest something, that is;
USE DISQUS DISCOVERY ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE HIGH TRAFFIC BLOG WHOSE USERS ARE FLOODING THE COMMENT BOX. In addition, we don't really recommend it with Adsense. DISQUS Discovery + Adsense may not be a good idea as it may affect the ad relevancy of Adsense (further testing might be needed but it is better to avoid it now in our honest opinion).
