Hello guys and welcome to my very first Tera Online guide. If you are an avid reader of my blog, then you have already meet Tera Online game last month. This time around, we will be meeting the classes of the game and first of, The Sorcerer in Tera Online.
In this page, I will share a guide for Tera Online Sorceress which will feature the role of a Sorcerer in the game. Also, we will determine the pros and cons of this class and of course, the different skills and glyphs of a Tera Online Sorcerer. In addition to that, we will define each skills so that you may determine what to take on your skill build. Moreover, we will also determine and define each glyphs of each skills. And lastly, we will be determining some basic skill rotations for Tera Online Sorcerer which will have the maximum damage output per skill rotation.
The Role of a Sorcerer on Tera Online
The key to being a great Sorcerer in any game is to dish out tremendous amount of damage to the enemy without being hurt in the process. When you become Sorcerer in Tera Online, you will have following advantages:
DAMAGE- So far, I can say that Sorcerer in Tera Online can be the main DPS of a party or as a while, the MAIN DPS CLASS IN THE GAME. You have the skills to do damage so best that you utilize it well.
RANGE- As a Sorcerer, you will be using range skills most of the time. A key to being a great Sorcerer is to KNOW YOUR RANGE. This is one of your advantage over other classes and you must use it. Do remember that your skills have various range which measured in meters, that you must know as sometimes, the skill you will cast might miss the target if you cast it in the wrong distance. Also, when it comes to range skills, you can use it wisely by "Kiting" enemies. This is a famous MMO word which basically is a "HIT AND RUN" process. This process is best use when you have decided to go solo in dungeons.
CROWD CONTROL- You have CC-ing skills and you must utilize this especially in PvE. Mobs will try to hurt you and tend to stop you at all cost on reaching their boss at the very end of the dungeon. So, what's the best thing to do if they will try to surround you?: CONTROL THEM AND KILL THEM WITH YOUR AOE RANGE SKILL. In this way, you will easily beat those mobs. This advantage is great in solo plays by the way.
Remember these things always and make sure that you use this advantage. One way of becoming a great Sorcerer is to focus on your strengths and not cope up with your weakness. DON'T TRY TO TANK AS YOUR SQUISHY AND DON'T TRY TO SUPPORT AS YOUR DAMAGE WILL BE WASTED.
To make this discussion short, SORCERER IS ALL ABOUT GIVING OUT HUGE DAMAGE OUTPUT TO THE ENEMY IN RANGE. Period.
Tera Rising Sorcerer Skills and Glyphs
In Tera Online, you will have skills and, each of them has these things called glyphs which basically enhances the skill. For Tera Sorcerer, these are her skills and its corresponding glyphs:
Legend:
[*]- How many points a glyph must have to be acquired
Fireball (Required Level 1)-Shoot a fireball at one target within 18 meters. Does less damage to far-off targets.
Cooldown: None
Cast time: Instant.
Cooldown: None
Cast time: Instant.
[3] Glyph of Longshot- Increases the range of the skill by 3 meters
Comment: At early stage of the game as a Sorceres, you will definitely love throwing Fireball to the enemy. However, when you reach high level, this skill will be outclass by other Sorcerer skills. Even it's glyph is not worth it spending the silver as you won't even include this skill on your hotkey at late stages.
Flame Pillar (Required Level 1)- Summon a column of flames in front of you that burns enemies within 3 meters.
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[5] Glyph of Power - Increase power by 25%
[3] Glyph of Blaze - Speed casting by 40% for Lightning Trap, the next skill in the chain
[4] Glyph of Energy - Decrease cool-down by 20%
[3] Glyph of Shield - 8% chance to activate Mana Barrier I
Comment: Like Fireball, it does the same effect to players. It gives out decent damage at early levels but soon be outclass by other Sorcerer skill at late stages. Best that you also don't spend any to upgrade this skill.
Mana Infusion (Required Level 2)-You regain 160mp every 2 sec for 25 sec. Effect does not end even if combat starts.
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Cast time: 4.5 seconds
[4] Glyph of Spirit - Increases MP regeneration by 10%
Comment: Mana shortage problem doesn't really bother Sorcerer in the game at late stages but in early levels, it does. Sometimes, you will be short of mana especially when you are still grinding and leveling. You can upgrade this skill's glyph so that instead of 160 MP per 2 seconds for 25 seconds, it will be 176 MP. However, it's not required but only optional.
Backstep (Required Level 2)- Quickly backup out of harms way. Gain invulnerability while using this skill. Puts Teleport jaunt on cooldown for 5 seconds.
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[3] Glyph of Indignacy - 20% chance to trigger Overchannel
[4] Glyph of Fleetfoot - Increases movement speed by 20% for 2 seconds
Comment: What you want this skill to do is to just be a plain defensive skill, use for evading enemy attacks. The glyphs isn't really that useful and I suggest not to bother getting. 20% chance to trigger Overchannel isn't worth the money and as well as the increase in movement speed as not all the times you will be at close range with the enemy. Just get this skill for evasion as I have said before as not only that you will quickly step back from harms way, but you will also have invincibility frames while the skill is in action, which basically means that you won't take any damage in the process.
Magma Bomb (Required Level 4)- Arc a fiery projectile 10m away, where it explodes in a 3 meters radius.
Cooldown: 5 seconds after animation
Cast time: Instant
[4] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 100
[5] Glyph of Persistence - 30% chance to eliminate cool-down
Comment: Your first skill which both have decent damage and decent area of effect (AOE). In terms of it's glyphs, well I just leave it to you guys. Basically the first glyph will be very useful in leveling and the second one is pretty decent too as the chance to reset its cooldown is what I can say "acceptable to invest". If I were to choose, I would definitely prioritize the second glyph. But it really depends on you if you want to choose just one or the two.
Painful Trap (Required Level 6)- Set a trap that explodes when stepped on. Trap lasts 10 seconds.
Cooldown: 30 seconds after animation
Cast time: 1.8 seconds
[4] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 75
[4] Glyph of Influence - Reduces MP cost for the next chain skill by 80: Flame Pillar
Comment: I won't bother investing on this skill. There are far more superior skill than this once. The damage isn't really that good as opposed to what others say and, it has a 30 seconds cooldown which is quite long for early level skills.
Time Gyre (Required Level 8)- Briefly immobilize up to 3 targets within 18 meters. Prevents other players from using evasion and movement skills. Effect ends when the target takes damage or is knocked down. Press the skill button once and mouse-over to lock on targets, then press the skill button again to shoot at all targets. Using this skill on a target cursed with Nerve Exhaustion will remove the Nerve Exhaustion effect from the target.
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[4] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cooldown by 15%
[7] Glyph of Multiplication -Increases number of lock-on targets by 2
[4] Glyph of Blaze - Speeds casting by 25% for Fireblast, the next skill in the chain
[4] Glyph of Multiplication - Increases number of lock-on targets by 2
Comment: Like the other skill mentioned above, this skill usefulness can only be seen at early levels. This skill gives you the early crowd control that you need to hit while not being hit by the enemy. If there's a glyph for this skill that I would prioritize, that would be the one that increases the number of lock-on targets by 2. However, there are some cons on this skill that will make you decide to skip it. One is that as what you have seen on the description, it cancels the Nerve Exhaustion effect from a target. And the other one is, due to a recent patch, the more targets you lock on with this skill, the lower will be its duration. Which is why instead of getting it for early grinding, I decided to skip it and stick with my range advantage for the moment.
Ice Needle (Required Level 10)- Launch a damaging ice shard through a line of targets up to 18 meters that briefly slows targets' movement speed by 20%
Cooldown: 7 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[4] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 30%
[3] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 50%
[3] Glyph of Slowing -Increases slowing effect by 20%
[5] Glyph of Blaze -Speeds casting by 40% for Mindblast, the next skill in the chain
Comment: This will be one of your kiting skill in PvE, while it serves as a starter skill in PvP and then cast your DPS spell after this. The damage of this skill isn't what we need from it but the slow effect it inflicts to the target. If there's a glyph I will recommend to have for this skill, it will be the increase of slowing effect by 20%. Why not the increase on duration? You may have it but for me, I prefer the additional effect as sufficient. Remember that this skill is a frontal straight line AOE skill which can be casted from 16 meters away from enemy and, also remember that its cooldown is only 7 seconds which makes it an often time spam skill.
Retaliate (Required Level 12)- Leap to your feet while attacking your target. You can use this skill only when knocked down. Buff applied that prevents another knock down within 2 seconds.
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[4] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cooldown by 20%
[5] Glyph of Shield - 50% chance of activating Mana Barrier II
Comment: In my opinion, this skill is more towards PvP but could be of good use in PvE also. This skill give you the quick option to get back up after being knocked down by the enemy and as well as providing you a 2 seconds buff which will protect you from being knocked down again. If you think that this option will be helpful for you then I suggest allocating a glyph for this skill. Preferably, I would suggest the Glyph which will activate Mana Barrier II by 50% chance.
Pain Blast (Required Level 14)- Up to 5 targets within a 4 meters radius centred 10 meters in front of you take 341 damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Does less damage to other players.
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[6] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 40%.
[5] Glyph of the Blossom - Increases periodic damage by 20%
[4] Glyph of Slowing - 50% chance to decrease opponent's speed by 50% for 7 seconds.
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 25%
[5] Glyph of Powerlink - Increases skill damage for the next chain skill by 25%: Flaming Barrage.\
Comment: This skill has this nice AOE pulling effect while inflicting decent damage to mobs. I have this skill in my rotation and if I we to be asked of what glyph did I take for this skill, that is the Glyph of Powelink. Why? It's because you can benefit from it by having as much DPS in just one skill rotation. Or you can go with the decreased cooldown Glyph as it will also give you more DPS in one skill rotation. It depends on your preference.
Mana Siphon (Required Level 15)- Charge up your attack by holding down the skill button, then release it to take MP from targets within 18 meters. While charging up, you can move at full speed.
Cooldown: 19 seconds
Cast time: Instant, lock-on, Instant
[3] Glyph of Spirit - Increases MP regeneration by 10%.
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 20%.
[2] Glyph of Blaze - Speeds casting by 25% for Flaming Barrage, the next skill in the chain.
[5] Glyph of Indignacy - 20% chance to trigger Overchannel
Comment: This will be the skill which will return a certain amount of your mana, which you will take from an enemy by the way. Sorcerer really consumes a lot of mana and this is the fact. Often times, you will be short of mana after casting 2 to 3 skill rotation and you need this skill. Usually, this skill is casted when all of your DPS skill are on cooldown or you need mana fast. And, it's really reliable as you can move at top speed while consuming mana. This only means that you can evade enemy attacks and evade being interrupted because you can move. If there's a glyph I would recommend for this mana sucking skill, that would be the increase of MP regeneration by 10%.
Glacial Retreat (Required Level 16)- Freeze the ground before you as you leap backwards, briefly decreasing the movement speed of your target by 70%
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[4] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 40%.
[4] Glyph of Blaze - Speeds charging by 30% for Arcane Pulse, the next skill in the chain.
[4] Glyph of Blaze - Speeds casting by 40% for Lightning Trap, the next skill in the chain.
[4] Glyph of Indignacy - 35% chance to trigger Overchannel
Comment: Yet another escape mechanism for our long range caster. This skill has no iframes like other escape mechanism but, what it have is this slow effect which can decrease the movement speed of your target by a whooping 70%. This will definitely serve as a great asset for you, especially in leveling as it will give you back the range you need to hit target from afar. For this skill, I would recommend getting the Glyph of Lingering. The increase in slow duration will be significant for you as this will give you enough time to escape and plan a counter attack on your target.
Arcane Pulse (Required Level 18)- Charge up the pulse's attack power by holding down the skill button, then release the button to hit targets in a 21 meters line.
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Cast time: 4 charges, cast upon releasing
[4] Glyph of Power - Increases power by 25%
[5] Glyph of Powerlink - Increases power for the next chain skill by 25%: Ice Needle.
[4] Glyph of Carving - Doubles crit rate for 4 seconds
[4] Glyph of the Slick - Eliminates slowed movement restriction
Comment: You will hate this skill at first because it takes time to charge and finally throw the pulse on your target. However, at late games or you being at full level, this will give a nice boost in damage in your skill rotation. If you take the Glyph of Carving, you will have that double crit rate for your skills, for 4 seconds. If you use it first then cast those damager skills second and third, then you will see that crit rate very worth it. But be advised to use this skill wisely as sometimes, charging can often leave you vulnerable to enemy attacks.
Flaming Barrage (Required Level 20)- Press the skill button once and mouse over to lock on to 4 targets within 18m, then press the skill button again to shoot at all targets.
Cooldown: 3 seconds
Cast time: instant, lock-on, 1.5 sec
[4] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 150.
[4] Glyph of Multiplication - Increases number of lock-on targets by 2.
Comment: The only thing I can see useful for this skill is it's decent damage per seconds. The damage is pretty decent and it has a nice AOE to go along with and lastly, it has a 3 seconds cooldown only. Many say that the addition 2 targets that will be hit by this skill will be more beneficial for you but for me, I think it's not worth spending the glyph points for it. 4 target hit by this skill is enough and, do remember that this isn't the only skill that you have in your arsenal which have both decent damage and AOE. Just learn the skill and don't spend points allocating on its glyph. Period.
Teleport Jaunt (Required Level 22)- Teleport a short distance in the direction the camera faces. Gain invulnerability while using this skill. This skill puts Backstep on cool-down for 5 seconds
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decrease cool-down by 15%
Comment: Another escape mechanism for your Sorcerer but, it can also serve as a distance closer. Remember that you can teleport in a short distance where your camera is facing which you can use to either to get close to your enemy or escape from him. I love this skill because it also has this iframe which makes you invulnerable from enemy attacks at its animation. If you think 12 seconds is too long, then you can glyph it with the 15% decrease in cooldown. But it is optional by the way.
Mind Blast (Required Level 24)- Briefly put targets to sleep in a 4 meters radius centered 10 meters in front of you. Sleep will break upon damage.
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Cast time: 3.2 seconds
[4] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 25%.
[5] Glyph of Haste - Speeds casting by 30%
[5] Glyph of Persistence - 25% chance to eliminate cool-down
[5] Glyph of Sharing - Increases chance of debuff by 30% when skill hits multiple targets
[4] Glyph of Sharing - Increases chance of debuff by 30% when skill hits multiple targets
Comment: This is another crowd controlling skill of Tera Sorcerer but it is not that effective. If you can notice, most mobs comes in groups that this skill can't handle. You can slept a couple of them but many of them will escape. Plus, this skill takes time to cast which is why I really don't recommend on focusing on this skill. In addition, glyphing it with casting speed or even effect duration will not be worth it.
Fire Blast (Required Level 26)- Blast targets in a flaming circle with a 4 meters radius centered 10 meters in front of you.
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Cast time: 4.4 seconds
[5] Glyph of Haste - Speeds casting by 17%
[4] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 250
[6] Glyph of Impulsion - 30% chance to eliminate MP cost
[4] Glyph of Haste - Speeds casting by 17%
[3] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 250
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decrease cool-down by 10%
Comment: This will be your main skill which you will use to deal the most damage to an enemy. At early levels, you will definitely hate this skill for its slow casting but at end game, you will see how powerful this skill is, as you will have skills and glyphs which will lower that casting time. I advice taking all the glyphs of this skill except for one, and that is the 30% chance to eliminate MP cost.
Lightning Trap (Required Level 28)-Set a ring-shaped trap that briefly paralyses its victims. Trap lasts 10 seconds.
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Cast time: 2.2 seconds
[5] Glyph of Powerlink - Increases power for the next chain skill by 20%: Fire Blast
[4] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 100
[4] Glyph of Blaze - Speeds casting by 25% for Flame Pillar, the next skill in the chain
[2] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 100
[4] Glyph of Powerlink - Increases power for the next chain skill by 20%: Fire Blast
Comment: This skill is really hard to master. It takes a lot of practice to perfectly execute it and have the most out from this skill. In leveling, this will give you another option to control the mobs that are closing or even hounding you to death. The best way to part of this skill is its ability to increase the damage of the Fire Blast and it will be a huge asset in your rotation at late levels. And yes, you can go for the Glyph of Powerlink.
Overchannel (Required Level 32)- Your next attack within 20 seconds does 25% more damage
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[2] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 30%
Comment: An extra boost of damage? Why not! Well, you can't see the potential of this skill at early levels. The description says that it does additional 25% damage but, it doesn't says when and where. Based on experience, the only increase of damage I see on skill when I first cast this skill is on first hit of the skill I cast next to this. After that, the 25% damage isn't added to the next hit(s). I did not use it on early leveling but after I reached level 40, I recognize how effective and beneficial this skill is to my skill rotation.
Void Pulse (Required Level 36)- Launch a powerful sphere at a single target within 21 meters.
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[4] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cooldown by 20%
[4] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 250
[3] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 250
Comment: Yet another damager skill of Sorcerer. It will be a part of your skill rotation and, I think it would be wise to spend some points glyphing this skill. This skill does consume a lot of mana and it would be wise to reduce that mana consumption and, the 20% decrease cooldown would be great as instead of 15 seconds, you will only wait for 12 seconds to reuse this skill.
Mana Barrier (Required Level 40)- Cast a magical shield that absorbs damage for 45 seconds. Costs 1 MP per 33 damage the shield absorbs. Ends when the shield reaches maximum damage or you run out of MP. Mana Barrier I absorbs 7063 damage, Mana Barrier II absorbs 13,529 damage.
Cooldown: 90 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[3] Glyph of the Pump - Increases power by 10% for 15 seconds
[4] Glyph of Grounding - Increases endurance by 20% for 15 seconds
[2] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 20%
[4] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 50%
[4] Glyph of the Ward - Increases damage absorption by 30%
[3] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 50%
Comment: At PvE, this skill proves to be worth it spending your coins and points. The barrier will serve as your extra life and I think it would be wise to focus on this skill (especially for PvE players). The glyphs of this skill are pretty useful too except for one and that is the glyph of grounding. What you need is the effect of the Barrier itself and not the Endurance so don't take this glyph.
Burning Breath (Required Level 44)- Shoot a fiery blaze that inflicts damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds on up to 1 target within 15 meters. Deals less damage to other players. Press the skill button once and mouse over to lock on targets, then press the skill button again to shoot at all targets. Burning Breath damage I/II/III : 1175/1631/2305.
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Cast time: Instant, Lock-on, 1 second
[5] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 20%
[4] Glyph of Powerlink - Increases power for the next chain skill by 35%: Flaming Barrage
[4] Glyph of Hinder - Decreases the HP regeneration of your enemy PC by 50% for 10 seconds
Comment: You will never cast this skill in PvE. Believe me! It does that little damage to PvE as the DOT proves to be not that effective to mobs and especially to bosses. However, the DoT in PvP is really good as this will ensure that players will endure constant damage when you are at down time. Well, if you decided to go PvP and get this skill, I don't suggest glyphing it anyways as the duration increase and as well as the increase on damage for your Flaming Barrage isn't that useful at all. Most of the time, I will only use this skill when you are at down time to give constant damage and you won't include I don't include it in my skill rotation.
Burst of Celerity (Required Level 48)- Your attack speed increases by 20% for 15 seconds.
Cooldown: 25 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[5] Glyph of Swift - Increases attack speed by 50%
[4] Glyph of the Swift - Increases attack speed by 50%
Comment: This skill is what makes you a noteworthy DPS class. The increase of attack speed is really needed in your skill rotation and glyphing it is extremely needed for that increase of attack speed!
Hail Storm (Required Level 48)- Summon an icy storm 12m in front of you for 10 seconds damaging all targets in 6 meters radius. Slows targets by 10% per hit. Effect stacks up to four times
Cooldown: 26 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 20%
[5] Glyph of Brilliance - Decreases MP consumption by 300
Comment: Yet another main skill for Sorcerer. Not only does it gives decent damage but it also has this wide AOE and as well as the slow effect. In short, it's a damager+CC-ing skill. Getting the decrease cooldown glyph for this skill is recommended and, if you think that it does consume a lot of mana, you can glyph it with the Glyph of Brilliance too (optional).
Nerve Exhaustion (Required Level 56)- Cast a hex that exhausts up to 4 targets within a 15 meters radius, making them unable to use any skills for 10 seconds. Effective only on other players. Press the skill button once and mouse over to lock on targets, then press the skill button again to shoot at all targets. Using this skill on a target cursed with Time Gyre will remove the Time Gyre effect from the target.
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Cast time: Instant, Lock-on, 1 second
[4] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 20%
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 30%
Comment: A pure PvP skill. If you love PvP, then surely you will love this skill. What it does is give a silence debuff to the enemy which will make them unable to cast any spell for a certain period of time. Just remember not to cast it along with Time Gyre as it will remove the cursed effect of this skill. If you will become a pure PvP player, then go with glyphing this skill but for PvE and hybrids, don't focus on this skill.
Mana Volley (Required Level 58)- Up to 4 targets within 15 meters lose 25% of their total MP immediately and 172 further MP every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. This affects only other players. However, hitting any target restores 25% of your total MP. Press the skill button once and mouse over to lock on targets, then press the skill button again to shoot at all targets.
Cooldown: 180 seconds
Cast time: Instant, Lock-on, Instant
[5] Glyph of Lingering - Increases effect duration by 40%
Comment: This is another PvP-oriented skill. If the silence for 10 seconds is not enough, then silence them forever by removing the mana of that player. For PvP fanatics, the increases of duration by 40% is really exceptional and it would be wise to get that Glyph of Lingering.
Stone Skin (Required Level 60)- Encases your body in stone for 5 seconds, protecting from all attacks and dropping all aggro. Can be cancelled if activated a second time.
Cooldown: 300 seconds
Cast time: Instant
[5] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 20%
[3] Glyph of Energy - Decreases cool-down by 20%
Comment: A great way to escape from being bind and as well as protecting you from any damage receive. This skill will make you invulnerable for a set period of time. During that time also, all aggro will be dropped which makes it a great skill for PvE. However, I don't suggest glyphing this skill. If you have played for awhile with your Sorcerer, you won't need this often times. You will only need to cast it in times where you are in hot water. In short, it's a must use skill only in extreme cases where you are bind, or the boss has casted an extremely damaging skill.
So there you have it, these is the Sorcerer skill on Tera online and there purposes for this class. Later, you can simulate the glyph distribution for your Tera Sorcerer in this page: Tera Sorcerer Glyph Simulator. But for now, let's proceed first to the skill rotation.
Tera Sorcerer Skill Rotation
Before we start this discussion, I will just remind you that the things you will see below is only a guide and just suggestions on what would be the basic and commonly used skill rotation for Tera Sorcerer. You can follow this skill rotation or formulate your own with the help of this guide.
1. Burst of Celerity Skill Rotation (casting two Fire Blast in one skill rotation)
Burst of Celerity>Void Pulse>Fire Blast>Flame Barrage>Ice Needle>Magma Bomb>Painblast>Mana Infusion>Hail Storm>Arcane Pulse>Void Pulse>Fire Blast. After this 15 seconds you have 10 second down time to use other DPS or mana/utility skills.
2. Overchannel Skill Rotation
a. Casting Overchannel frst
Overchannel> lighting trap cancel(glyph of powerlink)>mana barrier(glyph of pump)>celerity>fire blast for maximum burst of the initial attack.
b. Using Overchannel before or during Hail Storm's animation
Overchannel>lightning trap cancel(glyph of powerlink)>mana barrier(glyph of pump)>celerity>arcane pulse(glyph of carving/first hit fast cast)>void pulse>fire blast>pain blast>flame barrage>mana infusion>flame barrage>overchannel>lightning trap cancel>arcane pulse>void pulse>fire blast>hail storm.
This skill rotations are mainly to have the maximum DPS at one skill rotation and reducing that down time you will experience as a Tera Sorceress. And just like what I have said, this is only a guide and you can experiment other skill rotation which may result to more DPS. If you do have, then go share it by posting it on the comment box below.
