Abubot.ph has launched its open beta recently and aims to provide the same experience to all Pinoy geeks and collectors.
Mon Macutay, former marketing director of Level Up! Philippines and CEO of Big Ideas Social Media Inc has just launched his latest startup – abubot, to cater to the many needs of fellow geeks.
“The goal is to get the products we love to collect all at one site and offer this service to all Filipinos. I admit, as a geek, I wanted a lot of the stuff at sites similar to ThinkGeek but sadly, they don’t service the Philippines. Then, bam! a “Eureka” moment caught on. Thus, Abubot was conceptualized and born.” Macutay, abubot.ph founder said.
Macutay also said that one of the considerations of putting up the site was traffic. “Traffic, stress and shopping don’t really mix. With our e-commerce site, you can save time, gas and unwanted stress since we deliver to anywhere in the Philippines with the click of your mouse” he added.
Abubot currently accepts Paypal, Credit Card, Money Transfer and Bank Deposits as payment options.
