Pure PVE Dragon Nest Guardian Level 70 Build [Guide]

A lot has change in DN and a lot will change. In fact, we are chamging hearts on our builds and decided to venture more on PVE than hybrid.

Here you will see a pure PVE build for Guardians which may serve as your reference to make your very own skill build.

First, let's check out the level 70 pure PVE build.
Cleric skill tree
Paladin skill tree
Guardian skill tree
Now for some explanation.

On the Cleric skill tree;

No kicks?
This is not a PvP build so that is why we disregard all kicks and, even if this is a PvP build, we will do the same thing. One reason why Guardians go with Kicks is because they need filler skills. However, with Sacred Hammering having a physical dmg, Kicks are now disregarded and anyway, Sacred Hammering is preferable because it gives you the ability of infinite combo if you know how to do it.

No kicks but have Dive Kick? So silly!
Oh common! Give us some chance on explaining this one. Dive Kick may seem useless for you but for us it's really valuable. Have you experience being juggled in the air without any way out due to your Aerial Evasion is on cooldown? Then you know how hard it is! Dive Kick is your way out as once you activate it, you them dive right back into the ground. IN SHORT, IT'S YOUR EXTRA AERIAL EVASION.

Block only level 9?
Yup. Higher level is not necessary. Remember that level 9 offers 10 block and 10 blocks is the max block you can do to gather the max number of guardian bubbles. We think that you get the idea so no need on explaining further.

Toughness at level 3?
Some will say that only stupid players leave Toughness at low level but for us, it is a good move to get this at low level. It's way too easy now to make our Guardians more beefy because of the gears which can easily increase your defense. In fact, if we have more rooms for SP on other important skill, we put those SP on that and just skip this.

Next is on the Paladin skill tree:

Goddess Relic- Great AOE and able to clear small mobs in PVE with eas even at level 1.

Oh sh**, max Sacred Hammering?!
As we said before, this skill has become a great filler and the light buff also give a good boost on your damage. So we've decided to max it out no matter how you will boo us or trash talk us, we still be going with max Sacred Hammering. :)

Max Provoke and not level 4?
The idea is if you max provoke, then you have more chances to recast it when you fail to aggro in one try. In short, you'll have more tries to provoke as the cooldown is low.

Divine Ascension is soo weak. Why max it?
That was in the past my friend! Did you ever heard of its Ex version? That's when this skill has become way better. In fact, its DPS has become really superior. Compared to smite it has roughly the same or even 50% more phys% dmg but an amazing 5 sec CD @ 70 cap. And, some of our reliable sources says that this skill will become more powerful at level 80 cap. So it is worth the gamble!

No Iron Will? This build is becoming really annoying! I'm outta here!
Waaaaiiittt!!! Let us explain first! Iron Will got a timer right? And has a very long cooldown right? So it means you can't use it often right? Remember Shield Charge which can lessen your damage by 50%? This is your replacement for Iron Will. 50% damage reduction is overlooked sometimes by players but that is fairly good. So instead of wasting SP on Iron Will, go with level 1 Shield Charge which does the same thing in low CD. Anyway, you won't have any problem defending with all your blocking.

No Divine Vengeance
It would be a waste spending SP on this. Divine Ascension has more DPS than this.

Other active skills we think are self-explanatory but if have some questions later, feel free to comment below.

But before that, let us finish first the Guardian Tree;

We think that you agree with our SP allocation on this one. But what we really hope im the future is thag Justice Crash will have a light attac for more sick DPS. Fingers crossed on this one!

Heraldry Crests

Destructive – Physical Damage
Bear/Brutal – Strength
Health – Vitality
Life giving – HP
Tent/Adorned – Magic Defence
Iron wall/Sturdy – Defence
Fierce – Critical
(Optional but I prefer) Spirited/Vigor – MP regen

Skill Plates

Stance of Faith 20% duration – For infinite block.
Divine Ascension 20% damage – Main dps.
Goddess Relic 20% damage – other dps.
Electric Smite 20% damage – other dps.

Accessories

Go with Regular 2-line Str/Vit necklace and earrings because there is not much skills to boost in my opinion and those 2-lines are the most optimal if stacking those.

For rings technique Stance of Faith and Divine Ascensions are a great choice for the infinite block + maximizing damage. Even if you dont think it is necessary you should still tech your rings. Because one of the item stats tech rings could possibly give is the +3.54% light attack attribute. 2x that and a potential 7.08% light attack from just teching your rings.

Jades

Strength Vitality and Light are good for you.

Bonus Tips:

1. You can go with Flail as your main weapon for more CRITS.

2. Always make sure to max out light elemental attribute:

Ring 1 – 8.05%
Ring 2 – 8.05%
Main weapon – 8.05%
Offhand – 8.05%
Tech 1 – 3.54%
Tech 2 – 3.54%
Title (Provoking) – 6% (Look under Manticore achievements)
Green shiny ring 1 – 2%
Green shiny ring 2 – 2%
Sacred hammer buff(Lv11) – 20%
Ele aura – 30%

Result: 99.28% light attack WOW!

And according to the improved version of Xaldin’s Zap code
Righteous bolt – 15%
Charitable Zap – 15%
Smite – 15%
Main weapon 1 – 5% light debuff skill jade
Offhand – 5% light debuff skill jade
Guardians can self light debuff a total of -55% light.

3.  Alternate build
You can stick to Provoke level 4 and equip a skill heraldry duration and, skip Toughness. In that way, you will have more SP to allocate on your big ass relic or to your preferred skills.

That's all guys! Hope you have learned something on this guide. We are really excited for level 80 and we got a future build for our level 80 Guardian. So see you on our next Guardian build guide!

Happy Gaming Web Junkies!
