In this page, we will be discussing about Spirit Dancer in Dragon Nest. More specifically, we will determine what are the skills which are best for this class and of course, we will try to create a skill build for Spirit Dancer.

First, let's know what is a Spirit Dancer. Basically, this is the other job advancement you can get when you decided to become a Dancer. Based from what I have heard from my friends, Spirit Dancer isn't that hard to use like Blade Dancer. BD is a melee class which needs a lot of accuracy from players to hit her most powerful skills. On the other hand, Spirit Dancer has a slight advantage as some of her skills has good AOE which basically means that chances of hitting an opponent is pretty high. This class tends to use her "Spirit Guardians" like the Praetor, which is essentially is a mid-range skills. To make the story short, they are more like Elemental Lords.

In addition to the mid-range advantage, almost of their skills has faster cooldown the Blade Dancer but the downside is, it has lower damage compared to Blade Master. And lastly thing that you should know is, Spirit Dancer has this weakness called "Pause" in her skills. All of her skills require a small "pause" before executing the strongest hit. You may usually find her attack pattern like this: pause + continuous weak hits + pause + one "coup de grace" hit. To use her effectively, you have to practice timing.

Now that you know what is a Spirit Dancer, let's then proceed to determining the skills that you should prioritize for this class. My level 50 Spirit Dancer Skill Build for Dragon Nest SEA will be...
Kali Skill Tree
Dancer Skill Tree
Spirit Dancer Skill Tree
Kali Skill Tree

In this tree, you need to max Spinning Step, Aerial Evasion and Dummy Ghost for evasive purposes. Also, you need to max HP Mastery, MP Master and Mind Conquer to help you boost your HP, MP and MP recovery respective.

Your main goal here is to fullfill the 45 SP requirement to get your ultimate skill. Other skill that you can level up high will are:

Spirit Blow- Basically for the damage and for the high super armor break which is really helpful in terms of breaking those class specific skills which will inflict high damage and has very high super armor.

Negative Ghost- Why get this skill? It's a magical attack skill? Well, if you are going to be a PvE kind of Spirit Dancer, then I suggest to get this skill. According to players from kDN, this skill can be very beneficial to a Kali as it can save you in times where you have been surrounded by a mob and nowhere to go. Take note that this skill cancels the aggro of mobs. And oh yes! This skill is basically meant for PvE purposes. I haven't tested it yet on PvP but if it also cancel the aggro of players (I hope so), then I suggest that you get it to level 6 as well.

Also, don't forget to get Ghost Kick as it is needed to make Twinkle Spin more safe to use.

Dancer Skill Tree

Must Max Skill will be...

Twinkle Spin- The first hit is slow and Kali will not be invincible until she's on air. In addition, you'll be very vulnerable when the attack is over without Ghost kick or Refreshing screw. It's similar to Double Sommersault of Acro but not as good. Requires practicing to use well in PvP as you may lose your combo easily if you use this carelessly. Regardless of this cons, it's a good skill in terms of dealing huge damage to the enemy when you finally learned how to use it well.

Elegant Storm- So far, this is the best level 32 skill for a Dancer. It has a 360 AoE and can deal huge damage to the enemy and in PvP, it can trap enemy for a while. Still very strong without Breeze Call buff. It takes time to deal full damage on enemies, so you need to stun enemies before using this, or else u may miss a lot, especially the last strongest hit.

Sufi Dancer- In terms of PvE, it's a skill that has very high dps skill and works best on large bosses. In addition to its damage, it may immobilize small mobs like what Poison Missiles does. While in PvP, this skill is a  very good skill in terms of disturbing the opponent and become very deadly if the enemy is on the ground and cannot move. One drawback is that it's the slowest casting skill of a Dancer.

General Dunblade- This skill requires a lot of practice to have the best from it. First, Kali will move foward while attacking. The first 2 hits have large horizontal AoE but they're much weaker compared to the last hit. The last hit is a very strong slam attack that has small AoE. Usually, it's hard to get full hits on small targets. On bigger targets, if you stand close to them, you may lose the last hit easily. Nevertheless, the first 2 hits will become doubled, that means Kali can deal 4 continuous hits before executing the last one. In short, it's both a close and mid range attack skill, so using it wisely is recommended. In PvP, the skill is good only when there's free space for the attack to be executed. This skill becomes bad when your opponent is pushed to the wall, since you will lose all the hits and the opponent will roll away immediately. Nonetheless, if you managed to properly time this skill and have managed to make all hit counts, then you will see your targets HP deplete in just seconds.

Why you max Ecstatic Dance + Part 1 and 2? Why not go for Breeze Call Dance for more damage?

Well you can go for Breeze Call Dance to increase the damage of your Blade skills. However, players from DN CN suggest that I must have Ecstatic Dance and as well as its Part 1 and 2 at max level as it's very helpful in nest raids. The party buff it gives will be a tremendous help to you and your party (both damage and HP/HP regen). Well like what I have said before, you can go with Breeze Call Dance (which is really perfect of PvP Spirit Dancer I think) but, be ready for those players which will say "you are such a noob why not get Ecstatic Dance?", if you are going nest raids (PvE-oriented Spirit Dancer).

Ultimate Skills (Inner Fire and Storm of Ewinian)
I plan on going dual ultimate as a Spirit Dancer. Why? It's because I think you need Storm of Ewinian to get your Spirit Dancer but, Inner Fire is more effecient and effective to use than SoE. So basically, the reason for taking both SS is for prerequisite and usefulness. My friends from DN CN told me that SoE is very slow in terms of casting, slower speed while Inner Fire is an instant cast skill, can pull surrounding enemies to the center, has high dps even without Breeze Call Dance buff and, they say that its very deadly in PvP (which I like the most :D).

Spirit Dancer Skill Tree

Wide Stinger- I think level 1 will be enough for this skill. Based from what I have heard, lvl 1 and 6 are only different in terms of damage. You may cancel half-way for this skill and still receive the 90% crit buff for "General Dun Blade" and "Praetor". The AoE is pretty wide but, it's slow and this skill is one of those where the Spirit Dancer will pause for awhile.

Praetor- This has the highest damage output of all Spirit Dancer skills. When you cast this skill, you will summon a Fire guardian which will slam the ground 3 times and deal insane damage on enemies. The last hit may also stun the opponents (Similar to Rampage Claw of Screamer) However, this skill have 2 small "pauses" during the animation and in PvP, players can avoid the damage by jumping on the ground. So PAY ATTENTION TO THIS FACTS!

Stalker Ex- When you decided to get this skill, the ghost's explosion will become really big. Damage is also improved. However, it's still a slow casting skill, hard to chain with any other skills. May be handy to blow up surrounding mobs for escaping purpose. The ghost travels very slowly and usually picks up the wrong opponent to suicide attack. But still, it is still good in PvP, especially one on one as it will interrupt or distract the enemy.

So there you have it. This will be my future Spirit Dancer Skill Build in Dragon Nest SEA [T4]. I would just like to remind you that this skill build isn't final and I will make some improvement on it if there's any. And, this page will be updated without further notice. So stay tuned on this blog!
