Okay, now where in the third stage of Freedom's Black Dragon Nest Guide. In this stage, you will be facing the Fire Minotaur. The map layout (from Freedoms Guild) is illustrated below.

Note: Lava is spread on the outer edge of the map. Best that you avoid it as it can damage you and gives you a burn status which takes away 70k of your HP in average per tick.

BASIC BOSS SKILLS
Here are the skills of the Fire Minotaur that you should memorize to know his skill casting pattern.

Frontal Charge- The Fire Minotaur will slam his axe to the ground and then charge right after that. If you're hit, you'll take damage and your active buffs will be removed. Best way to avoid it is to stay on the side when you see the boss slams his axe (check out 0:48 on the video for reference).

Frontal Slam- This is the boss way to remove all those pest bothering him on the back. He will do a small jump and then slam his axe in front of him then towards his back, follow by a frontal swing. This skill is very dangerous as it does tremendous damage and will reverse your keyboard for a couple of seconds. Best way to avoid it is to stay on the side (see 0:55 for reference).

Axe Throw- The boss will throw fire axes at you which does damage but the most painful damage is the burning effect. Best way to avoid it is to walk in a straight path or in circle (see 1:02 for reference).

Fluffalo Charge- The signature move of the boss in the lvl 24 Minotaur Nest. Beat way to avoid it, is the method you do in the Minotaur Nest to avoid those charging bulls: Look around you once you've seen the boss roar and you see a yellow text on the screen to spot where the buffalos will charge. You should avoid being hit as the burn effect cause by the buffalos really hurt a lot (see 1:09, 2:08 for reference).

Stomp- The boss will glow with red magma waves and then move away in a straight path. You can avoid beimg hit by this action by simply standing right between the magma waves. Avoid being hit by this as it will juggle you into the air and cause burn effect. Right after the magma waves, the boss will then lift his leg and stomp. Be sure to avoid the stomp by a perfectly timed jump or you'll receive tremendous amount of damage plus a slow debuff (see 1:57, 4:34 for reference).

Stage Mechanic- Once the boss' HP bar reaches its end, the Fire Minotaur will suddenly disappear, and reappear on the middle of the map. All party members should be on their assigned bubble to recieve the invincibility buff (this mechanic is like what you experience in Sea Dragon Nest at the Lava Golem stage). The bubbles is located accordingly on the yellow circles on the map (see map layout above). Hit the bubble as soon as you're on it since the buff is 5 seconds and party members have 5 seconds to reach their own bubble.

The best way to avoid getting wipe out is to give the easy bubbles to newbies. Bubbles 3, 6, 9 and 12 should be reserved for newbies while the others are for advance players or for those class who can reach it easily, before the 5 seconds timer runs down. Also, don't use AOE skills like Raven's Umbra and Comsecration towards the end of the boss' HP bar.

Once the boss is done casting this mechanic at the end of x1 and x2 HP bar, he will then pull the party to the center and reduce the area of the battlefield. During this time, he will be invulnerable and there will be a notice on the screen that the area is slowly being reduce. You can refer to the picture above to see the amount of area which will be reduce during this time. It is highly recommended to finish the fight as fast as you can as when it takes longer, the area will get smaller making it hard to dodge the skills being thrown by the boss and, don't forget that the lava will cover the area as the fight takes long.

New Boss Skill at x3 HP

Confusion- The boss will disappear and reappear shortly in the middle of the stage. Once the boss disappears, rush to the center. When the Fire Minotaur reappear, the party will receive a 4 second debuff that causes you to run outwards into the lava. Break out as fast as you can by rapidly pressing the A-D keys.

New Boss Skill at x2 HP to Death

180 Degree Swing- Here's a move we often see Minotaurs do. The boss will charge up and then do a 180° swing in front of him. The swing can't be blocked by any means and it does hwavy damage so it's best to avoid it by staying on the side or back of the minotaur.

Berserk- The boss will go bananas when he activates this skill (the boss will roar and then you'll see a yellow icon on his head) that anyone will die with just 2 hits. Avoid being hit by this skill and, Mercs can debuff this by using Devitalizing Howl.

Black Dragon Nest Guide- Stage 4: How to defeat the Punisher will be up shortly.
