Echo of Soul is a standard theme park MMO where you have to progress in a fixed path. You can't move to new area without reaching certain level because you won't be able to receive those quests. To level up fast in a theme park MMO isn't difficult, as long as you do what is necessary to be done.

Gear and gold gain: ★★★☆

Difficulty: ☆

Although the story isn't very different to other KR mmos' it still tells a good story. Most importantly, doing mainstory quests is the most effective way to acquire gear and gold in early game. Don't miss any mainstory quest.

Of course you shouldn't miss open world elite bosses. You can challenge them after level 16 to win crafting materials and gems.

You can't gain enough EXP to level up with main quests, and you need to run some dungeons. Although dungeons cost much time and offer less EXP, they provide you more powerful gear. Besides, dungeon is where you should go if you need to farm gold.

At level 11-15 you can finally enter first solo dungeon Hidden Cavern, where you can obtain the best gear for LV 11-15 players. If you are lucky you can obtain gear with gem sockets.

Battleground has lots of EXP but it's more difficult than PvE because you are facing real players who are also trying to kill you for EXP. The trick is if you can maintain a 70% winning rate your EPX gain in PvP will surpass the EPX gain in questing. Not everyone can get 70% winning rate and Battleground PvP is a double blade if you try to level up fast through PvP.

You can go into first PvP battleground at level 10.
