— CABAL 2 – FORCE SHIELDER OVERVIEW/TUTORIAL — 

Note: This guide is based on the Korean launch version of the game, which provides content up until level 40. The skill names and descriptions are fictional until an official translation is provided. The information reflected in this guide may not be 100% accurate, and is subject to change as the game is updated.

Official description:
They form the majority of the Royal Guards and Imperial Army in the Main Continent. They have added the Force to their combat skills, enabling them to command other members on the front lines of the battlefield. They carry a gigantic shield that’s so heavy, normal people can’t even lift it, and use it to protect themselves and other team members. They also have great sword fighting skills, making them a subject of envy to many Force trainees.

Introduction:
The Force Shielder is the tank class in CABAL 2. Its damage is weaker compared to the rest of the classes, however it makes up by having tons of Defense. Force Shielder is quite easy to play solo, being able to handle most of the content with ease, but when tanking for groups in dungeons you do have to know how to keep the agro away from the group. Priests tend to draw agro very easily, and once they do they die in a few hits, which potentially could mean a wipe and a failed dungeon. You are the tank, it’s your job to protect him/her, and everyone else in the group. In solo play, the killing speed is slow, due to its reduced damage, so Force Shielders take a bit longer to level up than other classes. You can however handle a lot of situations that other classes couldn’t, like pulling more monsters at once, soloing elites etc. It all takes a bit longer, but is worth it in the end. Force Shielder has some important skills to keep its defense and extend his life as well. It also has 2 trigger buffs, which activate under certain conditions and are needed to use certain skills. I will refer to the first as Shield Counter, and the second as Shield Counter (Red). Shield Counter seems to activate randomly after attacking and lasts for 10 sec, certain skills have a higher rate to activate it. Shield Counter (red) activates upon blocking and lasts 3 sec. If you like a slower but safe character to have an easy start with – the Force Shielder is an excellent choice.

They are very easy to learn, and capable of doing nearly everything, even solo bosses and elites without much problems. The rest of the content wasn’t very challenging either.
